Sammontana is a gelato brand hailing from the green, white, and red land of Italy. Being in the industry for over 70 years, it started as a modest parlor in the suburbs of Empoli, Italy and has grown into one of the leading brands in the gelato industry. With delicious best-in-class flavors made with passion and determination, Sammontana started expanding outside the borders of Italy not long after. In 2022, Sammontana started exploring the Thai market, launching as the first ever imported Italian Gelato widely-available in Thailand at Tops Supermarket.
With Sammontana launching in the Thai market for the very first time, we knew we had to get creative. The problem? The available source materials for the current flavors and types of gelato being sold in Thailand were extremely limited. But we weren’t about to let that stop us! Our in-house creative team put their heads together and came up with an amazing plan.
They produced a series of incredible photoshoots featuring the products, creating content that would resonate with the Thai market while still staying true to Sammontana’s global brand messaging. It wasn’t easy, but we managed to pull it off by blending our content seamlessly with the client’s original materials, ensuring the highest possible quality and mood. And the results speak for themselves! Our social media pages and ad campaigns have seen record levels of engagement, proving that all our hard work paid off in the end.
We also teamed up with a curated group of amazing KOLs and content creators to promote Sammontana products in their own unique style, while still conveying the brand’s key message. So, what’s the secret to making this work? We’ve found that working with foodie content creators is the way to go! These creators already have a following of food, dessert, and beverage enthusiasts, and they helped us bring in even more traffic to our social media platforms, giving Sammontana Thailand a boost!
